Green Bracts

T.s. "Green Bracts" This clone was discovered by Bob Harris as a seedling in the early 1980s. The shrub is large and compact and vigorous it has a conical shaped inflorescence, 2 whorls of green tinged bracts that are short and stand out from the red flower which has many florets with pink tipped styles. Flowering time is late in the season. Leaves are large and dark green with a moderate degree of serrated margin.

"Green bracts" as a cut flower has a reputation for recovering well after being left out of water for some time as occurs when freighting overseas.
